The first meeting of the Fall '09 Semester will be Wednesday, September 16th at 6:00 PM in Alpine 147! Come help us kick this semester off right!The Queer Straight Alliance of CSU Sacramento is a student organization dedicated to the Queer Community, both on-campus and at large, and their Straight Allies.
Support
As a support group, we provide meeting time to discuss the problems of members who need support and/or peer advice.
Social
As a social group, we facilitate activities that provide opportunities for members of the Queer Community to meet and connect.
Activist
As a activist group, we facilitate activities to help advocate against the oppression of the queer community in the social and educational environment on campus and in the community

"In Switzerland I was educated in line with the basic premise: work work work. You are only a valuable human being if you work. This is utterly wrong. Half working, half dancing - that is the right mixture. I myself have danced and played too little."
One of her greatest wishes was to build a Hospice" for infants and children infected with AIDS, to give them a last home where they could live until their passing. In 1985 she attempted to do this in VA but local residents feared the possibility of infection and blocked the necessary re-zoning.
In 1994, she lost her house and possessions to an arson fire that is suspected to have been set by opponents of her work. She conducted many workshops in all parts of the world.
Her extensive work with the dying led to the book "On Death and Dying" in 1969. In this work she proposed the now famous Five Stages of Dying. These five stages are: denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance.

I'm so Proud of Ya'll. I remember when it was a Horrible struggle starting a GSA in our University. All our Love and Support for your continued work.
I Post Sermons on Fridays. There is background and tidbits in the Blog. The Videos go on the Main Page with feeds from Youtube. There are 3 Youtube Feeds. The Purple one has a variety of recent Sermons. The Red one has Chapters from my Book, "Awakenings in an Age of Angels". The Green one has the Sacrament Service, Selected readings, and music.
