But we got influences.... a lot of different ones though electronic music inspires us most. Bands like: Depeche Mode, Erasure, Yazoo, Kraftwerk.
Our leadsinger Magnus is into electronica and electronic body music: Miss Kittin etc.
Andy likes very poppy electronic music and the swedish band Kent.
Marcus listens to The Cure, Nick Cave, Nitzer Ebb, Front 242, Fixmer McCarthy, Nine Inch Nails, Di Leva, KENT and Olle Ljungström
More bands that inspires us: New Order, Morrissey, Moby, U2, REM, Eurythmics and Coldplay.
Our intention is to write great popsongs with profound depth in the lyrics, there of our bands name. quelles paroles means "what paroles" or "which words" or something similar.

Founders of the band: Marcus Hansson and Andreas (Andy) Axelson.
Andy and Marcus has been writing music together since 1992. The first band founded was 300 BAUD. It was simplistic, poppy, electronic music without guitars. Andreas took care of the mic and the lyrics was in swedish
Marcus had also a band called subZero that was a bit more black and sorrowful. The lyrics were in english and subZero contributed to a number of swedish compilation records.
Andy and his friend started a band that they called Tin-Tin's Soldater (The soldiers of Tintin). Poppy music with swedish lyrics.
In the late 90's 300 BAUD became the embryo to quelles paroles featuring Jonna Dansk.
Andy and Marcus teamed up with Eddie Bengtsson for a short while in Eddies band This Fish Needs a Bike (other bands: SPOCK, Sista mannen på jorden) but left pretty soon again to focus 100% on our own compositions.
In 2003, after Jonna had left the band, Magnus came to be our new leadsinger. Leslie were hooked up on guitar. Now the lyrics were in english again and we changed the bands name to quelles paroles. After a few years, Leslie left the band, and we are now a 3-piece-band.
After signing a recorddeal with Electric Fantastic Sound in 2006 things are starting to happen for us.
Besides the releases on Electric Fantastic Sound we've been participating on some compilations released in Sweden and Germany aside bands like Scotch, Trans-X and Vive la Fête, Emmon and Marlow.
