Quest4Goa was born in 1999 from the dream and dedication of a group of friends united by a common love for mother nature and electronic music, specifically Trance and its innumerable ramifications.

With a purpose of introducing this incredible world, the collective started producing happenings totally focused on the conscious expansion and evolution of the Trance movement and culture. 

Since the beginning Quest4Goa searched to establish good relations with the existing Portuguese trance organizations. Defined its identity searching to please the several existent public and by exploring various languages, with quality being a primary premise on the musical level and around the rest that set up a party production: the chosen place, a vectorial advertising, the decoration, the public health and security, the price asked, all told and other endless details that allow its good action.

With humbleness, Quest4Goa settled a respect - based relationship with  party-goers and a wide variety of national and international artists and labels whom, throughout its existence, punctually works with.

That relationship united to an acquired experience in the develop and organizing of the happennings enabled an increasing solidification and recognition of a continuous work of effort and dedication.

Quest4Goa seek to pass on a consciousness and preservation message for this planet, appealing to a healthy friendship between man and nature. More and more we feel that today..s society is walking away from those essential life..s primary elements.The preferential choice of open air happennings aim to lead the general public to a direct contact with nature, allowing each one to know, value and be active in its preservation.

Inserted in this contact music, dance and several artistic expressions enable a liberation of the day..s routine and an experimentation of positive sensations for bodies and minds.
In its course Quest4Goa count about 40 happennings/events a bit dispersed over Portugal, with participations in several electronic music events of national recognition included. In the same way, showing clearly an union spirit, Quest4Goa had partnerships with other national organizations in specific productions, from wich stand out those made with Good Mood, trance precursors in lusitanian lands.  From those collaborations outstands the Sinergia editions with Boom Festival organizers (www.omium.org) of  2003, 2004 and 2006, as well the production of trance areas in Dance in Douro 2000 and 2001 and 2006, Elektroparade 2001 and 2002 and CBT – Celorico de Basto Festival 2001 and 2002 (to mention some).  In this course a direct collaboration has been settle with several City Halls, always having as premises the respect and preservation of nature as well the introduction of multi-cultural concepts to the young people and general population. 

Throughout time trance began to take up an important role on the Quest team..s lifes, creating an individual evolution and identification of its members on the musical, artistic and events execution areas. Quest4Goa  is, since 2005, the oldest national collective at work. Not resting over the achieved, remains the purpose to improve and innovate on the related areas, having conscience of its impact not with a protagonist sense but a responsible one.

Due to party people..s growing exigence level and everyone who experience the movement, it..s up to Quest4Goa to receive and analyze critiques, suggestions and ideas so that future challenges have a good answer.
