One day in the summer of 2000, Michael Quetzalcoatlus decited to try to make music because he had a tape recorder. He now continues to try to make music because he has a computer.
Discography (all hotlinks are to a zip file of the respective album):
2009: Raised By Motorcycles. Recorded in February of 2009 for Recording Project Month. The first Quetzalcoatlus release since 2000 to feature absolutely no samples.
2008:Beats + Noise. Songs made between 2006 and 2008. With some help from Tom Meade, J. Hayes, and Violik. "Das Doomenhaus" was composed as a final project for a computer music course, and I think I got an A- for it.
2007:Quetzalcoatlus Ruins Your Favorite Songs: Volume 1.
A compilation of bad cover tunes recorded between 2000 and 2007. There have been a couple more covers since then, so maybe there eventually will be Volume 2 someday.
2000: Downstairs Music.
Recorded with a crappy tape recorder in my basement when I was 18 or so. Full of Mountain Goats-level tape hiss and midi presets, but there's still some stuff I like on this. This is the one Jim Santo deemed "friendly but inconsequential", by the way.
I just wanted to let you know, that a new track of mine is waiting for your oppinion. It's called "run the self" and its the first track after a decade of music production, that I sung myself.
