About me: I'm a musician and a music educator. Teaching music, working with kids, making a difference in some student's life... can't beat it! Playing music is also part of what makes me whole. I play with the following bands: THE PATRICK CONTRERAS BAND, KEMAYA (salsa band), IBICE (flamenco moderno), LANCE CANALES TRIO (acoustic/blues), THE JAY ROSSETTE PROJECT, and run a couple of my groups such as CHAMBA MARIMBA BAND and CASE NUMBER THREE, as well play at local churches and other groups around town. I do small recording projects here and there. Some sound reinforcement here and there. I do give drum, bass, and guitar lessons. Anyway! COME TO MY NEXT SHOW! TELL A FRIEND! BRING A FRIEND! Who I'd like to meet: ALL THE COOL AMAZING PEOPLE I HAVEN'T MET YET! And... The girl that's going to be my girl for life... the most beautiful person in the world. How will I know I've met her you say? Well let's just say, every time her eyes shine the stars in the sky will start fading, every time she smiles the birds in the trees will start singing, and every time I hear her voice it'll feel like a cool breeze on a hot summer day... that's how I'll know. She'll be my EVE and I'll be her W.A.L.L.E. through thick and thin... I'll be her Aladdin (NOT just cuz ppl say I look like 'em!) and she'll be my Jasmine... that's how I'll know. I'd like to meet my one. What if you've already met her and simply haven't realized it you say? My answer is that it hasn't been the right time for me to have had that kind of revelation yet.
