Started out playing bass in a local "rock" band when I was 16. I say "rock " because still to this day I'm unable to find an appropriate name for our mix of indie, goth, pop punk, metal and grunge. The band split when various members headed off to uni and such like.
At this stage I began concentrating more on my electronic compositions, I had been making these whilst with the band as well but now they became the primary focus of my creative work. With just an Amiga and then the addition of a hard drive recorder I began creating my own brand of tehno, having up until this point been mostly listening to extreme metal, goth, grunge, and a little gabba.
When I moved to Norwich, to study music, I started DJ'ing in various pubs and bars, mostly alternative rock/goth kinda venues. Scared the shit out of a lot of people playing Skinny Puppy and ATR and eventually got asked to DJ at Chains On Velvet, where I'm still a resident DJ. I was in various bands, during this time, most of which never went anywhere due to internal political problems between band members and or sanity.
Since then I've expanded the studio to include a PC, now my main creative tool. Released my own CDr, MIND and DJ'd across the UK at Infest (Bradford), Replicate (Manchester), Sick & Twisted (London), Judder (Cheltenham), Resonance FM (London). As well as promoting various nights in Norwich, see www.sintechnologies.co.uk for more info on these, I've started a record stall, again see the website for details of current stock e.t.c.
The first live performance of my electronic music happened in 2004, in Norwich, with guest appearances from Mz Pink on violin and Nathaniel Harris on vocals. Future live performances are planned to include more appearances from Mz Pink both on violin and drums.

I started out playing the Violin at school when I was 9 years old, mostly because it was free and something extra to do.
I studied music at school and then at 16 moved to Norwich. I formed a band with 2 others at 6th form called D-Kline, playing bass guitar, writing lyrics and singing. Our brand of indie punk found us playing at Fat Pauly's amongst other small venues. Eventually the band dissolved after the first year of 6th form where we had to start getting on with exams.
At college I formed, with others, Virus, where I was again writing lyrics and on vocals in a punk/metal style. Again venues such as Fat Pauly's were played, along with being part of a Norwich Battle of the Bands, but due to professional differences this band also dissolved.
After moving in with some folks I'd met on a night out at Fat Pauly's aged 18, I became aware of the EBM and Industrial music scene. Having spent my teenage years floating between genres from Grunge to Indie to Metal to Hard House, I'd never really found anything that felt like it worked for me. Having found and explored this genre of music, I started DJing at 21 and since then have DJ'd at Judder, Club [Implant] amongst others along with residencies at Chains On Velvet and Achtung!.
Sintec asked me to get involved with Queynte for a gig at the Ferryboat and we felt that it'd be really interesting to do something with the electric violin. Thus the track 'Population Control' was written and after the gig I was asked to become a permanent member of Queynte.
Let the Noize commence!
