About Quicksand

An acoustic guitar duo, Quicksand has gained a solid reputation of entertaining listeners with melodic instrumental covers of all-time hits. Kindling sweet nostalgia to its audiences, the duo performs singles by The Shadows, Ventures, Beatles, and other great guitar classics which evoke high spirits across all ages. Members Bernard Catania and Peter Paul Zammit have enjoyed years of guitar playing in various bands, participation in music festivals, fund raising events and social gatherings. Besides gigging regularly, Quicksand spend endless hours in their studio working on new material, constantly improving their own sound and production techniques. To date, the duo has recorded a number of instrumentals packed with guitar melodies and mellow acoustic riffs.
