SCHEDULED GUESTS!
July 8 We welcome singer/songwriter Anthony Cobb to our show.
I have been writing and playing for a long time, I have been in several bands, but I would rather be solo, that way I only have to agree with me, although I do have a close friend who collaborates with me on a lot of my songs. I do not write songs about myself, I try to write about what I have come to know and understand.
July 15 We welcome singer/songwriter K.W. Hoffman and Melissa Danelle to our show.
K. W. Hoffman was born and raised in Monticello, AR. He began performing classic country music locally in the 1990’s as a weekend hobby. He paid Tribute to a Legend by performing as a Hank Williams Jr. impersonator in 2006. In March 2006 he auditioned for ABC TV’s “The Next Best Thing” in Orlando, FL and landed an appearance on National TV and he also appeared on Florida’s WFTV 9 local news. I have always had a great passion for music. Melissa Danelle believes that any emotion can be expressed through the words of a song or felt through the beat of the music. When I sing I sing from my heart and soul and feel every inch of the song. I am taken away from all of the worries and frustrations of this life.
July 17 We welcome country singer/songwriter Gary Helms to our show.
From the hotspots of east Texas and southwest Louisiana to the traditional toe-tapping dance-halls of central and west Texas, Gary Helms has played to standing room only audiences and kept them screaming for more. Few artists have made such and impact on the Texas country music scene. Nonstop touring and professionalism have made him one of the most in demand country artist in Texas.
July 22 We welcome author Diane Tegarden to our show.
Diane Tegarden, the author of three published books, lives in Pasadena, with her husband, three cats and a dog (the head count is in constant flux!) She’s been a print journalist since 1992, writing on a wide range of subjects including; renewable energy, environmental concerns, holistic health, women’s issues, and Native Spirituality. Her work has been published in: The Pasadena Star News, Security Sales Magazine, The Pasadena Weekly, The Solar Flare, The Feral Forest, The Daily Sundial, the West Coast Well Being, Associated Content and Healthy Breakthroughs.
July 29 We welcome The Joe Pitts Band to our show.
Powerhouse and multi-talented guitarist Joe Pitts is pulling influences from yesterday into today. Joe has been compared to guitarists like Warren Haynes, Larry McCray and Walter Trout. Although his influences range from Duane Allman and Jeff Beck to Roy Buchanan, Joe is becoming known worldwide for his slide guitar work. He uses his slide work to create tone-filled licks that glide and soar over the music. Joe is also heavily inside the groove with really funky rhythmic improvisations.
