   About Quiet Riot-Rehab

For the new recordings Kevin DuBrow (vocals) and Frankie Banali (drums) are joined by Tony Franklin on bass (ex-The Firm and Blue Murder), and session guitarist Neil Citron. The voice of rock, Glenn Hughes (ex-Deep Purple and Black Sabbath) performs a vocal duet with Kevin DuBrow and contributes the bass track on the classic 1969 Spooky Tooth song, "Evil Woman".

"Rehab" will be available throughout the United States and issued through Chavis Records (CR). The release will be in stores October 3, 2006. The US release will contain 11 songs, while the European/South American, etc., release will have the same track listing but will also include a additional bonus track. The Japanese release will include a bonus track that is different from the other international releases. The European release is expected to be available in March 2007.

QUIET RIOT have recently reunited with Alex Grossi (guitar) and Chuck Wright (bass) along with original members DuBrow and Banali who continue to tour worldwide in support of the forthcoming Rehab release.

It was a big shock to me watching cnn this past monday morning and hearing of the passing of kevin. I had the chance to see you guy's play in Lewiston,Idaho during the mid 90's. You guy's were doing an mtv special on band's of the 80's then and now. The band's focused on were Quiet Riot and Men at Work. Who was still rocking and who was not. Needless to say Quiet Riot won that one.lol I had never seen a band come into Tom Foolery's night club and melt the damn wall's like you guy's did. You guy's were touring you're lastest release at the time. Down To The Bone. That cd rocked and is still my favorite besides mental health. Kevin was hand's down one of the best front men a band could have. He and franki make quiet riot what it is. He will be greatly missed. I am playing drum's in a country rock band in Portland,Oregon. Called One Way Train. And one of the biggest reason's is because of. Guy's like Kevin Bubrow and Franki Banali. Sorry if I mispelled you're name franki. Kevin you will be missed . Rock and rest in peace.

The rock and roll community lost one of its most colorful ersonalities with the sudden passing of Quiet Riot vocalist and 80s icon Kevin DuBrow. Hosts Ralph Sutton and Stacey X take a look back at the life and career of Kevin DuBrow. The Tour Bus "Kevin DuBrow Tribute" features a full hour of special guests, rare in-studio performances, tour stories, and music from a truly great frontman and his friends. Quiet Riot was the first hard rock band to have a number one album and went on to sell millions of records, touring the globe with a career spanning four decades. Quiet Riot also helped to launch the careers of musicians like legendary Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Randy Rhoads, who was a founding member of Quiet Riot and played on the band's first two albums.
