Who I'd like to meet: Gee, I dunno. Anybody I look up to would make me feel all inadequate and insecure. Anybody else, I wouldn't want to meet. Which I guess qualifies me to meet Woody Allen.
So the song I'm currently obsessed with and have posted on facebook a couple of times, is in its original form on my profile playlist here. I want you to hear it. It doesn't make sense the first two times. It's been going through my head for...3 days.
heh. yeah I didn't do much explaining... he had Mark Heard or however you spell him all over, including a video of Treasure of the Broken land. um what else... his video about slavery was fascinating. Seems like there was something else music-y that was amazing but I forget. I highly recommend the Helio Sequence (esp "don't look away). Oh and Cloud Cult (esp "Living on the OUtside of your Skin" if you can find it).
1) hey, go check out this guy. This being there internet, you might already know him from another life. http://www. myspace. com/waterwalking 2) Hey, several things about which I think "Oh hey, he should listen to this" are now on the playlist on my profile, so go dislike 2 and totaly flip for 3 of them, or thereabouts. :)
hey hey warren! wow...i feel like i've been supposed to get back to ya for awhile..sorry it's taken so long. school will be out next week (yay!!), so life will be less crazy..so how have you been? that pink spiders song is keeper, so don't feel guilty for liking it by the way :)
Ok I was going to say that I think you're probably also qualified to meet Adam Duritz or however you spell him. But whoever that is below has the best screen name ever. It's one of my many many favorite parts of El Scorcho. Gillians of points to her.
::singing quietly:: [I'm a lot like you, so please, hello, I'm here, I'm waaaiiting....]
warren!! sorry it's taken me so long to respond. man oh man. yes, i do pick the jobs :) always fun and rewarding, and they don't really feel like jobs..man. i envy you. it's been awhile since i've been to a big concert, i usually go to little shows. my friend beau is going to a brand new concert this weekend....SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO jealous!! how have you been? how is the fam?
Have I told you to try El Pero del Mar? She has a voice you would like and that's nearly all I know. thought of this when a song was on by "taken by trees" of whom I'd never heard, but so do they. I am recommending you those voices. :)

Haha. Just in case you were worried that I wasn't acting like myself.... -That was on our community-service day. The house we [the guys] were working on is in the background.
Listening to #5 all *. I cannot go about a quiet evening while Big Guns is playing, I just discovered that. [Tend to think about the nature of satire & about my heritage & the nature of evangelicalism and etc etc etc.] Makes me want to say hi. :)
