Pat Benetar recorded a fine but ultimately sub-standard cover that lacks inspiration and depth by comparison. Yeah, she's great. But this may well be Cougar's "Born To Run." In my opinion). Originally born in Cleveland, Ohio, I grew up in a North Eastern suburb among great family and great friends. I attended BOWLING GREEN STATE UNIVERSITY and Graduated KENT STATE UNIVERSITY with Honors in TV/Radio/Film/Theatre. I formed and played in local rock bands in the Cleveland-Akron area as well as running sound under the direction of KIRK MAHARG. My wry wit enhanced my host position for an Alternative Video Music Program, (which pre-dated MTV's 120 Minutes), called, "The Alternate Beat", which was seen nationally. Los Angeles beckoned so I took the journey with my cousin and landed in Hollywood on North Argyle where things got so bad they put the Guardian Angels on our street. "Livin' the dream!" I've been a professional working actor for the last fifteen years and have been fortunate enough to perform on stages all over town. Whether it was stand-up at THE IMPROV and THE COMEDY STORE, or rockin' out at THE TROUBADOR, THE WHISKY or THE ROXY, I have lived out many a childhood dream and still do. After a test option deal with SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE! and some great gigs on JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE!, I began creating my own sketch comedy show, along with Co-creator and EMMY Award Winning Writer/Producer, JEFF NIMOY, to shoot and air "IN LIKE FLYNN!" Currently, however, as mentioned, JEFF & I are launching our NEW WEB SERIES - ADVENTURES IN ANIME! In tandem, we are touring the country and shooting new footage as we speak (or write) of the convention circuit that features all parties involved; you, me, everybody, EVERYBODY!!! (see BLUES BROTHERS for musical lyric reference;-) The fans we meet and new friends we make give us so much gratitude for the work we do, we thank you. Whether it's NARUTO, TRIGUN, ZATCH BELL, ADVENT CHILDREN, KINGDOM HEARTS 2, MGS2, FINAL FANTASY, TIMON & PUMBAA, JONNY QUEST, MGS4 or the BRAND NEW - "DIGIMON DATA SQUAD" - NOW AIRING!!, we've seen how dreams can become a reality.
