QUINTO SOL- The musical project by former F&D's keyboardist JOAQUIN TAVARES (d. 2006) IS NOW AVAILABLE on Italian record label SILENTES RECORDS ( "Ollintonatiuh" cat#SME0824/CD) - Quinto Sol was the brainchild of Tavares and co-found ALFREDO FEREGRINO who sculpted a very brilliant "pre-Hispanic" ritual project that incorporated complex Mayan and Ancient symbolism woven into a percussive, dirge-like soundscapes. Tracks are culled from the studio (via Elizabeth Ripley) and a "El Día de los Muertos" live performance at the Seattle Art Museum (Vocals by F&D's DARA ROSENWASSER) with Joshua Furman and Eric Cooley
