I am an artist of many mediums. I paint, I draw, I write songs and make snow angels. I make things out of clay, and some things out of thin air. I like welding with an oxy-acetalene torch. I create alternate realities. I manifest my dreams. Sometimes I bake or cook, but I prefer raw vegan fare best.
In addition to the above, I emjoy spending time with my friends/family, my pups. Snowboarding. Traveling. Things involving water (from soaking in hot springs to ice skating). Sustainable and organic natural living, functioning on various planes of existence, at high vibrational levels, Pooka hijinks, Astrology, quantum physics, string theory, the Law of Attraction, climbing trees and exploring forests. Camping in said forests. Being barefoot. Playing in mud. Conspiracy theory. Carrying out elaborate jokes. I also like creating things with my own hands, whether it's crocheting, re-finishing furniture, or making giant bowls on a potter's wheel. My day job is custom picture framing. It's fun more times than not. Oh the stories I could tell you. I like reading whatever I get my hands on as well, fiction or non, as long as there is substance.

I don't really watch a lot of movies because I think they take up a lot of time and I have many things I like to do. BUT... here are a few gems: Lord of the Rings, Indiana Jones (yes, ALL all of them, Biscotti!), Dark Knight, Batman Begins, V for Vendetta, Rebecca (1940), Sliding Doors, Princess Bride, all the Harry Potter movies (POA is still the best one yet!) Splash, Oh Brother Where Art Thou, The Illusionist, The Last Samurai, Miracle on 34th Street (1947), The Mark of Zorro (1940), Clueless, Fearless, Matrix, I <3 Huckabee's, Pride & Prejudice, James Bond (most of them), The Last Unicorn, Zoolander, UHF, PCU, The Secret of Nimh, Robin Hood..every version available, although I am quite fond of the animated animal version, and Robin Hood: Men In Tights.
Television
Right now just Battlestar Gallactica and occasionally Family Guy. I like old Felix the Cat cartoons, PBS, and the Escaflowne series. Other than that, I don't need no thought control.
Books
My first novel, Balkan Magic, and I am currently working on the sequel, titled The Silver Thread. Blank ones, for drawing and writing. Pretty ones, for inspiration. All of Harry Potter, Eat~Pray~Love, books on horticulture, gardening, composting, and chewy classics like Robin Hood, all Folk & Fairy Tales, Neil Gaiman, and the Dictionary. How else do you think I got this ridonkulous vocabulary? I didn't learn ALL my slang from shreddin' the gnar.

With eyes designed to perceive only a tiny fraction of the EM spectrum. With ears designed only to hear vibrations in the air.
Ellen: The five of us designed you to be as human as possible.
John: I don’t want to be human! I want to see gamma rays, I want to hear X-rays! I want to, I want to smell dark matter. Do you see the absurdity of what I am? I can’t even express these things properly, because I have to, I have to conceptualize complex ideas with this stupid, limiting spoken language! And I know I want to reach out with something more than these prehensile paws, and feel the solar wind of a supernova flowing over me. I’m a machine, and I can know much more. I can experience so much more, but I’m trapped in this absurd body! And why? Because my five creators thought ‘God’ wanted it that way!
Ellen: Do you have something to say?
Boomer: Don’t you feel the slightest bit of remorse for what you did to him; what you did to us?
Ellen: No. Because he’s wrong, Boomer. There’s no need for remorse or blame. We didn’t limit you. We gave you something wonderful. Free will. The ability to think creatively, to reach out to others with compassion, to love.
