WOW... I'm getting married soon!
Well, I'm sitting here just thinking about a lot of stuff. Crazy how life seems to go by so fast. Some good things have happened over the past year. I've made some new friends, got back some old ones too. New jobs, and school. But one thing that is the best of all is that I'm engaged to my best friend and love of my life.
We will be getting married on November 14, 2009. I can't believe it. I'm truly blessed to have him in my life. I can't wait for the day that we say 'I do'.
I know this isn't some insightful blog about life and all that jazz, but I was just thinking of how soon I will be a bride.

1. I love my boyfriend Dustin, and we will be together for 4 years in April.
2. I HATE bridges.
3. I love art and music.
4. I love to read at night to get my mind off of things.
5. I paint and draw, but I wish I did more of it.
6. I love spending time with my family.
7. I enjoy watching movies and eating while doing it. HAHA.
8. I don't like cleaning unless I'm in the mood, which isn't often.

A New Year. . .

2008 has just started and I'm already going a little crazy, but isn't that how life goes. I'm looking for a job once again. Ugh. That always seems to be my story. Maybe I should just become a Nun or something, well, no I really don't want to do that. But you know what I mean. It seems that everytime something is going good, some horrible wind storm comes and tears it down. Why? I don't know but I think it is to keep us on our toes. But enough about my struggle to keep a job.

School just started and I'm really not so excited about it. I will be working my butt off this semester. How fun.
I turned 20 years old on January 4th, and I have to say that I'm very excited about that. I'm no longer a teenager. YAY! I never really liked the word teenager because it always had such an ugly tone about it, and when you heard that word you always affiliated it with something young and immature. Well, I'm not that anymore. I've learned more in these past two years than I have in my whole lifetime, and I know there is more to come.
I know I'm rambling but that's what I do best. I'm blessed, I'm lucky, and I'm learning to be the best me that I can possibly be. I've just hit a few bumps on the way, but that's reality. I hope that this year will be everything I've hoped it will be, and I hope I find a job and figure out what it is I actually want to do with my life.
All I know is that I'm living, loving, and laughing as much as I can.
