Every time I turn on the TV, I see something that makes me sick. Every time I check the "hip-hop" radio stations, I hear something that makes me sick. It's not just mainstream rap, it's everything. I can't watch a single skit on Saturday Night Live without being assaulted with sexual innuendo and foul language. There are no more musicians on "music television", only sex artists (they are not selling music anymore, they're selling sex). I can't even watch network television without seeing the same things.

The sad thing is, all these things can be so beautiful. Hip-hop music can be so beautiful, yet they make it ugly. Television has such great potential for entertainment and education. I've seen some beautiful videos on MTV, but they only play them for a 24-hour period after a tragedy like 9/11, then it's right back to videos about thongs/jewelry/shaking something or inane shows about how it's cool for teenagers to be promiscuous. What a wonderful chance they all have to make something good and show it to the world, yet they all resort to crudeness and sex, appealing to the lowest common denominator in our society to make more money. And thus, the cycle continues.

I make music to break that cycle. It's the only way I know how. We don't have to be trapped in The Great Deception that is our society. Life can be beautiful. What a wonderful chance we all have to be great. To be happy. To be free.

That's what "Rhyme + Revolution" is all about.

sup Q? got the cd. thanks. i got it on the system and i'll feature this weekend. i'll record the whole show and cut out some of the other music i play cause its a 5 hour show. i really like track 4. "breathe". if its cool with u i want to play that one on air to. i think that one will go over huge with our listeners. sorry it took me a while to hit u up again. keep in touch brother.
hey bro. as a radio dj let me just say that i really appreciate the work ur doin and the stand ur makin. i like the sound too. i'm not singling out hip-hop but since its the closest thing to what ur doin i'll it. its became more of a spectacle than and artform with "artists" who talk about things no one (sometimes not even them) can relate to more. i respect ur work. if there's ANYTHING i can do to help promote u or whatever just let me know dude!
thankx 4 the add homey! your music is ill....no doubt! i agree about being sick of seeing so much garbage on tv and hearing it on the radio too....not to get too deep or ne thang but things are bound to change real soon for everything thats true and real! respect....appreciate what youre doing mane! peazzzz 4e
Hey there! Thanks for adding me! You have a unique sound. Very nice. It's good to know that there are some other conscience rappers out there. :-) Be blessed!!
Hey, You're welcome:) Actually I just started watching Lost this past season...I've only seen about a handful of episodes but I like it so far. It's different...crazy but different. :)
Anyways, hope you are havin a good week. God bless!
Hey bro, props for the add. I dig your stuff. Don't get too deep, though. You might make me actually think about the mindless music that's on the radio ;)
Good stuff, man. Anytime I can get my hands on something different than the mainstream crap, I'm down. I completely agree with your assessment of the current state of pop music, and am glad to be a part of changing it. Keep on trucking, champ.
What's up man? Thanks for the add dogg. I definitely feel what you're saying. Nope, turning off the TV won't make anything just go away. And "faith without works is dead", not my words but Gods. Weather possitive or Christian, don't matter, I bump it anywhere. I was out the other day in the drive thru @ Mc D's and a lady heard me bumping Lecrae and she was like, " That's so true, I like that". People definitely will take notice if not sooner, then later. One love man, Torrence
