Hakkımda: "What are those boys over there doing next to the hifi tunrtable? Oh of course, they're DJS!!"
Unique in Scotland, R-P-Z has proved a consistently successful clubnite that relies neither on hype nor bought-in cool, thriving instead on word-of-mouth and the passion and commitment of its resident deejays. RPZ is now the busiest week-day club night in Glasgow that offers a whole lot more than just a student disco.
Pioneering an aesthetic that has since been appropriated by gaudier, lesser and – crucially – more ephemeral nights, R-P-Z has retained its identity and remains fresh for two reasons: 1. Our unending search for new music is fired not by following trends, but by seeking out stuff that excites/inspires/amuses us, and 2: We don’t take ourselves too seriously. The reason R-P-Z is such a great party is that we spend our time making the club great, not talking about how great it is. We always want the club to look as much fun as it sounds, which is why our flyers don’t look like anybody else’s - and, if you’re not too busy dancing, you’ll see films and projections you just won’t see elsewhere.
*Following our own wayward muse, we booked the premier Scottish shows by a wide variety of acts from around the world including Bang Gang Djs (Australia), Midnight Juggernauts (Australia), Scissor Sisters (USA), Dahlia (Berlin), Franz Ferdinand (first club show, UK), Sirius Mo (Germany), Kelly Polar (USA), Franz & Shape (Italy), Le Corps Mince De Francoise (Finalnd), Xinobi (Portugal), AC Slater (USA), Nag Nag Nag/Atomiser (UK).
*Similarly, we have consistently broken new music – we were the first to play out Presets, Digitalism, SMD, Justice, Crookers, Midnight Juggernauts, AC Slater, Passions.
remember kids, its R-P-Z: like the old Record Playerz but a little bit sleeker!

wobbliest, deepest dubstep you wish you could think of! The boy's a
