Well lets see here, I was born and raised in Tucson Arizona.

After high school, I went off and joined the Navy. After going thru boot camp here in San Diego, I ended up being stationed up in the Seattle area for 5 years. Talk about a change in the weather.

ImageShack.us

Anyway, during this time, I traveled around the world a few times and played war games with Bosnia back in 1995. Over the years, friends have asked me, " Where was the best place you have visited?" I always respond, "Australia. There is nothing like having a bar on every corner."

In 1998, I left the Seattle area and ended up being stationed at El Toro then finally to Miramar. For 2 years, I worked on F-18's then switched jobs to running the IT shop before getting out of the service in 2000.

In March 2002, I got my first motorcycle.

It was shaky at first, but after a few months, I got the basics down. I never thought that this one single item could change my life so many ways. The people I have met and the things I have learned has been the greatest thing to happen to me in my life so far.

In 2003, I became a track junkie. I also paid the price in more ways in one dealing with motorcycles. My 2002 R6 became a victim of Palomar Mountain and the 2003 R6 was born. Between August 2003 and July 2004, I was at the track at least once a month.

Here in 2006, I expanded my motorcycle collection and added a 2006 GSXR-750.

The R6 is looking to become my track bike here shortly and I am looking forward to what the future has in store for me.

Good to hear you get to get away. Life can just wear you down...bad! Just remember to take a deep breath and know in the end it will be ok and there is usually something better waiting for us. I think we often tend to forget that part. Smile!!

Well, the vacation part sounds perfect. Hope you enjoy that. As far as the house, I know how hard that is, and I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Wow, just the thought of buying a house right now stresses me out...lol. You are brave, my friend.

I'm with you, I am completely disappointed with the 2009 R1. I don't like the front that much, glad I'm still on love with my 2007. I got a lead on two San diego jobs, I'm not sure to much about them, I made a new friend and he is going to hand in my resume. Later, Jerry
