I used to have a comprehensive list here of every band ever that I like but I accidentally deleted it. I like punk, post-punk, rockabilly, psychobilly, bluegrass, blues, jazz, motown, really naff dodgy pop, electro, some euphoric trance when i'm smashed off my tits, big band, Sixties girl groups....I'm all over the place. If I had to choose five artists that I'd listen to on repeat for the rest of my life then it would be:

All sorts of crap really- mainly Star Wars, Die Hard, Back To The Future, Jaws. Anything that comes in multiples, basically. Recently I have enjoyed Hot Fuzz and The Departed, oh and everyone loves True Romance.

This Morning (only when it's Phil & Fern though, none of this John Barrowman shit, thanks. Phil is so ace they even named an airport after him, you know, Berlin Schofield.), Corrie, Ramsays Kitchen Nightmares. I used to like Dancing On Ice when they fell over but these celebrity bitches all got professional.

I've just started training for the ASPIRE Channel Swim- a 22 mile swim that will take place on the above dates at Huyton Leisure centre. If all goes to plan I shall be swimming 30 lengths, four times a week for twelve weeks. I'm hoping to raise enough money to help adapt houses for people with spinal injuries- whether this means providing more comfortable bedding or special kitchen equipment is up to your generosity.
