About me:
Formed in September 2005, Rabbit Hole Ensemble emphasizes the communal nature of theatre through a distinctly minimalist aesthetic that focuses on space, audience, and the performer (especially their basic tools of physicality and voice) to produce a uniquely direct and candid experience. Strong stories, told simply and theatrically, without much technology.
Rabbit Hole Ensemble just finished two fun-filled runs of Stanton Wood's Big Thick Rod, first at FringeNYC, then at the Access Theater Spotlight Series! Check out the reviews for what NYTheatre.com called "one of the best ensemble performances in town" at www.bigthickrod.com!
Big News! Rabbit Hole Ensemble is the proud recipient of TWO New York Innovative Theatre Awards! Artistic Director Edward Elefterion won the award for Outstanding Direction, and Resident Lighting Designer Kevin Hardy won for Outstanding Lighting Design. Both awards were for last fall's The Night of Nosferatu. The show was also nominated for Outstanding Production of a Play, Outstanding Full Length Script (Stanton Wood), Outstanding Featured Actress (Tatiana Gomberg), and Outstanding Ensemble (Danny Ashkenasi, Matt W. Cody, Paul Daily, Tatiana Gomberg, Emily Hartford, and Ned Massey).
