The first suite of the three part album “This life is where you get fucked…” Tragedy, toil, guilt. Metal, Post-Hardcore, Drum&Bass. Powerlessness and ineffectual rage put to music. Struggle without victory or redemption. Without end. Our shared fate. Don’t go quietly.
Why? Because strength is a choice you make, not a gift you’re given. I just wanted to transmute my own sense of powerlessness into something useful. Success? The struggle doesn’t ever end...
Where? Warsaw, Poland, 1941. Miami night club, 1977. Third and Yesler, Seattle, 2007.
Who? JP and Sum Grrrl, and lead guitars/turntables by Coleman.
How? Essentially we recorded the tracks like standard rock songs. Then we broke out turntables and a keyboard and laid in the electronics.
