While I DO have a Television to play video games, & DVDs... I have discontinued my cable service permanently due to the amount of HORSE-SHIT that producers are passing off as entertainment, and the crap that commercials ram down your throat. I'm firmly convinced TV has done more damage to todays youth (And American culture in general) than any wars, religions, and diseases combined: Conformity & consumer driven programs are making you dumb, complacent, lazy, giving your kids ADHD, and plaguing you with low-self esteem.
TURN OFF YOUR TV's AND READ A FUCKING BOOK!
(However, Discovery, History, and Animal Planet occasionally have something positive to offer.)
