Racer Truck started out in October 2006 after a long talk between Leandro Azaziel (vocals) and Carlos Outor (guitars) in a little pub at Niterói, Rio de Janeiro. Their idea was to play the old Rock’n Roll music with a new face, influenced by Blues and Hard Rock. The set list of the gigs is composed of nine own songs that go from Blues to Hard Rock and also some covers of many bands that left their marks on the world music scene: Motörhead, Cream, Whitesnake, Kiss, Angel Witch, Bad Company, Tank, Twisted Sister, Black Sabbath, Witchfinger General, etc.

Dear Friends, Well, it's been six months since my abdominal surgery, and finally the music is starting to flow again. I've written two new songs "Bridge Of Shadows" and something a little different for me called "Looking Glass Man"...my first song using a Strat. I've never owned a Stratocaster before, was always a Les Paul guy (still am). But my wife promised me a new Strat if I just acted brave; and survived the surgery of course. I guessed the Fender would influence me in some "twangy way", but I never imagined it would be a Johhny Cash way, (not that I'm complaining, always kind of liked him). Here is some information about the zine:
After seeing how a Hebrew-written fanzine limits itself (the 1st issue, released in September 2008) I decided to continue in English. The result is 92 A5 xeroxed pages with 14 deep inties with both ''famous'' and new violently oldschool Heavy/Thrash/Death/Blackthrash ug bands, 50 detailed reviews + more (font size 8, no unnecessary space waste, just the reasonable amount of pictures. Most of the material form the debut issue appears here, so the inability to understand what's written there is not a big loss now).
