We regret to inform you that after nearly five years in various forms, Race Well Run has decided to call it quits.
There is no point in buttering up the story and we will tell it to you how it is. Earlier this year, Dave decided that the band was no longer for him and he would leave after the summer to pursue further education. RWR was prepared to continue on without him, but recently, Jordan has decided that it's time for him to move on from the band as well. Passion has always been the foundation of Race Well Run and there can just never be passion if someone's heart is somewhere else. With Jordan's announcement, the band has finally decided that they can not continue on
We assure you that this is not the result of any hard feelings within the band itself or of any personal quarrels. We love each other. We're certain that you'll see more of us in the future - whether it be solo projects, other bands, or computer programming in China.
Our last show will be August 26 at the Guelph Youth Music Center. Please, please, please come out and sing along with us one last time. We promise to make it memorable.
