MySpace a place for friends

First and foremost I'm a tattoo artist, which pretty much dominates my life. That's not to say I'm all work and no play (because where's the fun in that?) but things do revolve around my tattooing, which quite frankly I adore. I'm part of the team at the fabulous Rampant Ink tattoo studio based in Netherfield, Nottingham, so do drop by if you feel the itch for new ink:

I also draw. If you've found me here it may well be due to an interest in my artwork, which I thank you immensely for.

My website, www.rachaelhuntington.com showcases a large collection of my illustrations (although my online portfolio is pitifully outdated largely due to the emphasis now placed on my tattooing), but I'm hoping that this place can offer a slightly more personal forum in which to show my work, make announcements and keep people updated with the latest news.

I sell the vast majority of my illustrations as prints, so do visit my website that now features an online shopping cart facility if you would like to purchase any artwork.

As for my style, I'll admit to liking the slightly darker side of things, hence having what you could call a bit of an 'alternative edge' to a lot of what I do. It's not ALL that I do though, but it is in the majority.

You can normally find me on a Saturday night at one of these club nights, although I also seek out new nights to sample where ever possible too:

Nottingham's *AMAZING* new Goth/Batcave/Post-Punk/Deathrock/Horror Punk night 'The Ghoul Garden' which boasts four fantastic resident DJs and a guest DJ each month (it's about time we had a Goth/Batcave night again, and GG definitely delivers the goods)!!:

'Kreepers', a kick-ass night out catering for the more Rockabilly/Psychobilly/Horror Punk side of things:

I would also encourage anyone of a Goth/Alternative persuasion to take a look at and join the new 'Pray Silence - Church Of Nightbreed' online Gothic Community. It's a fun, friendly, informative and rapidly growing online home for us gothy types:

As a side note, if I ever find people using my art illegally for profit I WILL come down on you like a tonne of bricks. Sadly, I've had to do that a few times, so be warned. Even I have my limits. Cheers
