My first time playing live was April of this year in the company of established local musicians Alister Said and Rob Clarke. With support and encouragement from local writer and poet Amanda De Angeles, who compared my voice to "delicate antique lace," I made the decision to perform in local acoustic events. Oxjam at 3345, live radio performances on Radio Merseyside and Radio Hope, First Fridays at The Mocha Lounge, Prescot Summer Festival, The Egg Cafe, Mochacoustic, and most recently, Catacoustic UK at The Vic in Woolton, have provided me with the incentive to carry on performing live.
My music has received not only local and national interest, but international as well. I have been featured on Sher Delight's Home Grown Radio in New Jersey, Adam Waltemire's Pop Garden Radio in Florida, Jann Turner's 'Liverpool Zone' on Rockland World Radio in New York, KCR's The Sound Garden hosted by Tracy Morgan in Knowsley, and Graham Holland's 'It's A Frog's Life' Podcast Liverpool's Got Talent Show 61. Lost In A Dream....is a nice acoustical ballad..it reminds a little bit of Pink Floyd's Grantchester Meadows from double album Ummagumma...a track written by Roger Waters...I think...where many natural sounds can be heard...like several species of birds singing...geese diving and swimming...Lost In A Dream makes me wondering about myself within a wide natural park...where everyone lives in harmony with each other...and with the nature itself.. Nice magical track, Rach...
