Heroes
My mum. She is the most inspiring human being that I have met. She has been through so much in her life and always been given the rough end of the stick, but she took it and used what she had to make a good life. She's also the nicest human being on the entire planet and gives the very best hugs! [And I swear I'm not biased... not at all!] :-)
About me: Well, I’ve decided that for too long now, this Blog has been going no-where and seems to be serving no purpose. So as a remedy to this I’ve decided to update it, add more about me and just generally make it more interesting than before. So, here are some things that you might like to know about me. I LOVE GREEN! I hate sour cream and guacamole on nachos, I’m addicted to those Yogo chocolate chip yogurt thingos and also rate Chico’s fairly highly too. I love seeing people get what they deserve; if you’ve put your heart and soul into something and it pays off, then all power to you, but if you’re a dickhead then I hope things aren’t so kind. Am I a vindictive person then? Possibly, but not always. I’ll put it this way, if I’m on the highway and you overtake me doing 140kmh then I’m going to bitch and moan about you for the next 5 minutes, but when I see you pulled up at the side of the road with the cops giving you a ticket and breathalysing you I feel that I have the right to put on my evil, cackling, vindictive, laugh and point at you saying “See, speeding didn’t get you there any quicker and now you have to pay for it, you fucking tool!” What else might you want to know about me? Well, I tend to make really close friends rather than just befriending every Tom, Dick and Harry that I see. Be truthful with me and you’ll gain my trust fairly quickly. I don’t see the point in people being anyone but themselves, you do not impress others by pretending. Most people on this planet just want people around them that they know won’t hurt them; people they know they can be themselves around; people they trust; people they love. Finally, I'm me... and can't stand little pop-tarts who put on an act to everyone around them. BE YOURSELF!
Also, I can't stand people who lie and cheat. If you want to be my friend, then don't give me the run-around. I haven't got time to waste on people who only talk to me when they want something or when it suits them. That's not how you make friends. If you want me to be your mate, you have to SHOW that you are willing to be there for me and not just around for purely selfish reasons. FRIENDS ARE FRIENDS FOR LIFE: NOT JUST WHEN IT SUITS! Okay, on to other areas... I’ve just finished the second year of my Arts degree at uni studying English and Journalism and am going on for my third. I still haven’t totally made up my mind about where I want to go yet but if I decide I’ve had enough of uni at the end of the year, then I’m going to head off and do Journalism somewhere. If not, I reckon I’ll stick it out at uni for another 2 years and do my Bachelor of Teaching. Anyway, if there's more that you'd like to know about me, them add me and ask or catch me on msn at:
racheal67@hotmail.com
Who I'd like to meet: Neil Finn, J.K Rowling, Terry Pratchett and Dylan Moran.
Panto is from the 12th - 17th of November... I'm 90% sure. Renee thinks she'll be up and be able to see it, be good if we can all catch up. As for your birthday, I'm all for a nice trip to Hobart depending on transport and if I can get off work. I reckon you Uni students would drink me under the table though. :Þ
