MySpace a place for friends

Stefanie Hope is one of my best friends, and the fact she's almsot 10 years younger than me has never really been an issue. We have a lot in common and we always have fun. I love to listen to her stories about different things and it's the easiest thing in the world to get caught up in her enthusiasm about things! I just love to spend time with her because she makes the world fun for me! She's always there if I need to vent, and she always makes me laugh.

Sean Manley is just a legend!! Sharing and caring and just a total legend! He'd go out of his way to do something nice for a fellow human being and he's always had a way of making me feel as though I'm worth something. He's never got anything but nice and helpful things to say and he lights up even the darkest days. He knows exactly what to say to make me smile and he knows when those things are needed.

Kate Fiedler my almost twinnie! Only four days younger than me! Squeak and I just clicked. We have a lot of common interests but I learn so much from her every single day. She inspires me in everything she does! There is NOTHING she can't do if she wants to and, my gosh, I love that attitude so much. She understands me, and I understand her. We both know life gets hard, and sometimes it just plain sucks, but there is so much good stuff out there if you just are able to look and see it. I will never forget the importance of that lesson thanks to Squeak!

Life is great! Is it not?

Isobel Matthews my rock, my lifeline, my sister, my friend. The first person who came along in my life after my parents and took care of me just because she could. She has never wanted anything from me except for me to be myself and that is an amazing gift from a friend. She never expects me to be bright or cheery, though she likes it when I am, she's just always wanted me to be me. Anything she does for me I ask what I can do in return and I know the answer will always be "Just yourself, just my friend.

Kate Ceberano say whatever you like, KC is important to me for reasons that are my own. She's always inspired me and it's because of her that I learnt that there's always a silver lining. Years before I ever had a chance to meet her she was a light in my life. I think (and I'm not alone) that she has an amazing voice, a fantastic personality and is just beautiful. Inside and out she's just beautiful.

Lauren Mobbs is about my age which makes it easier for us to relate to some things. We're of the same generation and we have some of the most insanity filled conversations. She and Steff both just get me. Lozza and I have the biggest laughs about the randomest things! We're dirty, dirty little children, but we have fun.

Hi All! My name is Rachie and I live in South East Queensland, Australia. I am owned by a (crazy) cat named Taz who has been my faithful companion for about 12 years. I love him to pieces (and he knows it). DJ has now been added to the family. He's an insane kitten, but he's pretty cute. He's really annoying actually but he's part of the family, so that's all I really need to know.

I have the weirdest and most bizarre off the wall sense of humour. Sarcasm is my friend. No, really, we're having coffee later. Coffee, is also my friend, we're getting together later over a little sarcasm.

I seriously doubt my own sanity more than once a day. You'll quite often find me humming to myself, or whistling, and dancing to the beautiful music in my head. It's what I do. ;o) If I'm not smiling, run and hide! It hasn’t happened yet, except that one time…I'm pretty much happy just about all the time. It's a great way to live.

I'll do anything that's fun or rewarding, no matter the expense and I enjoy doing volunteer work, just to feel a bit useful. I LOVE people!!

I also enjoy baked goods, jelly snakes, Gloria Jeans White Hot Chocolate (with marshmallows AND sprinkles please!), I don't drink alcohol and I just recently quit smoking cigarettes after quite a number of years, my friends and family mean the most in the world to me. I love music, don't mind cooking, baking is my stress relief, like reading, movies and television. I'd go to a concert everyday if I could! I love to travel, even though I've never actually been outside of Australia. I'm lucky enough to have more than a dozen people in my life whom I would die for in a second, without a thought. I'd like to think that I have at least one person who was willing to do the same for me.

I worked at McDonalds on the front counter for a few months in my late teens and it's one of the best jobs I've ever had! I met new and interesting people every day and it's a really nice feeling recognising the regulars and knowing what they'd like before they have to ask.

I have a Diploma in Business Administration. Imagine that! I rarely use it, but I do have it, so there you go!

I do a bit of volunteer work in a nursing home when I can. I just love to talk! I love to keep people company, and that's basically what I do in a nursing home. Just talk and drink tea/coffee and eat biscuits.

It is the most wonderful feeling walking into a room and knowing everyone's name, how they like their coffee or tea, how many children/grand children/great grand children they have (and their names and some stand out stories about each), what they and their spouse did for a living and where said spouse is now.

Some of the stories I have heard are the most amazing and inspiring tales that ever were. Walking into that room and knowing that all those people know my name as well and that they can call me over for a bit of a chat fills my heart. It really does. Sappy I know, but it's true.

I also volunteer at my local Red Cross Blood service two days a month, which isn't much, but I hope I'm helping a little bit.

In between all of that I fit in whatever paying job I happen to have at the time. At the minute I work as a cleaner, but don't look down your nose at me. I clean your sh*t, I know it stinks. Someone's gotta do it, wouldn't you rather it be someone nice like me?
