Rachel Bishop is an independant singer/songwriter from the Sacramento area in Northern California. Starting out at the ripe old age of 4, Rachel's calling was evident. At the age of 7, her parents bought her what they still say was their wisest investment: a piano. By the time Rachel was 18 she had recorded two full length albums. With her heart for high school students, and her love for music, Rachel has used the gifts that God has given her to portray the message of the Gospel to kids and adults alike. With her ethereal voice, and intriguing lyrics Rachel has been able to play and minister in secular venues as well as Christian. The running theme she stresses at all her shows is that we serve a loving and forgiving God, and that there is no such thing as a lost cause, and no one is so far gone that they are out of the reach of God's unending love.
Rachel has since gone on to play various festivals, major all ages venues in Northern California, and placed 5th in the nationwide christian music competition, The Connection, has appeared on Good Day Sacramento, and can be seen in the March/April 2007 issue of San Joaquin magazine. If you can't make it out to a show, you can buy the Cd on PayPal!!
