"Back in 93,i worked as court reporter/journalist on George Michaels Sony contract battle.Here in the pic,I was trying to get some quotes from the man himself,and the papparazzi/press cornered us all in together.Im standing there with a stony expression on my tomboyish face (yes im wearing a suit)thinking "what the
f**k is going on." I look back and laugh at this.
There I was wearing a pin stripe suit and baker boy cap,Louis Vuitton bag and clutching my reporters notebook.The case lasted 8 months,of which i was there every day sifting through legal and factual arguments.Providing copy for the Music Week editor.I thank George for the opportunity to learn about his life,career and muscial genius.Whats funny is that i was never into his Faith / LWP career,and had to ask fellow reporters "what is Listen Without Prejudice?" during the court proceedings.i soon had to learn about his life and stuff,and quickly.It was fun time.I got to press the flesh with George and he reminded me of an accountant.So different and modest to his public image.in fact quite child-like.Another story...I still got a copy of his music contract and all the legal documents,from the case.Wrote a script/book,never got published.No one would touch it.mm..wonder why? Maria Carey..s ex,Mr.Tommy Mottolla gave testimony and there was an eery silence in court.Another story....
