... southern comfort and lemonade; cool t-shirts; colourful stuff; funny friends; drunken texts; silly hats; walking fast; listening to tunes (and forcing my music on to others); getting introduced to new tuneage (it can be life-changing!); architecture; taking photos at every god-given angle (ie, bullying friends with my camera); flat footwear; going to gigs wherever and whenever; making the most of time with friends and family; spending too much money in fopp; Bestival, and maybe Bestival numero deux?; looking forward to holibags in Krakow with Rosiemac and Lou; seeing a bit of the world; chocolate (white chocoate...dreamy); hot chocolate (ok, i've a very sweet tooth); hot choclate and croissants...(hence why my interest in muai thai should really be on the up); ...talented people, and those i admire; .... sleeping - i like that alot, and have been found sleeping in many many places; and of course, nights out in glasgow with my crazy friends...

Usually, they make me sleepy...I even fell asleep in a 3D version of Sharks recently. They were coming right at me, and I fell asleep. Surely that's not right?

There's lots of exciting stuff happening right now, even though i'm away...such as the Your Sound bandstand at Connect! Wahey!! The line up is most excellent... go see!
For info on YOUR SOUND, go to www.myspace.com/yoursoundglasgow
Who I'd like to meet: All those people i don't get to see enough of!
The last Phantom Band show of the decade... our festive Yuletide Log Jam, with help from Lord Cut-Glass and Sparrow & The Workshop.
To show our gratitude for a fantastic year, we're giving out some Xmas gifts to the earliest arrivals, which will include unreleased/unheard music and one or two other bits and bobs. Apparently there's also a deal on regarding entry to Death Disco as well.
A
4 track EP, titled Call Signs, it provides the perfect introduction to
the band prior to the release of their debut album, Grappling Hooks, in
early 2010.
North Atlantic Oscillation's "Hollywood Has Ended", from the forthcoming album Grappling Hooks, is featured in this month's Police Box compilation from TenTracks. It's here:
In case you haven't heard, TenTracks is a new music delivery service where you can buy exclusive 10-track compilations for £1, i.e. a mere 10p per track.
This month NAO are in the illustrious company of the excellent Found, Orkestra Del Sol, Fence Collective luminaries James Yorkston and King Creosote and exactly 5 others. Once again, that's £1 for ALL TEN TRACKS. Not bad, really.
