Rachel Hawker is an exciting new artist surfacing from the Brighton Music Scene. The 21 year old singer/songwriter has been writing her own material since the age of 11, playing guitar since she was 8 and singing for as long as she can remember.
With a wide variety of musical influences Rachels style is unique. Powerful vocals juxtapositioned alongside sentive and inspired lyrical content. That, finished wit a sprinkling of attitude, is what gives Rachel's passionate and comitted performances the bite that leaves you wanting more.

Hey rachel, listened to Aimee Mann and enjoyed it! I can see you've been inspired by her, and i really like her style. Her phrasing is what caught me actually, it's quite interesting and reminded me of Jonatha Brooke, who i've been inspired by a lot.
I was hoping to catch some of your gig at the komedia on wed, as i'm playing with Donna Fullman and would like to see her, it'll probably clash. What time are you on? i may be able to make it, we'll see!
Thanks again, i'll get the cd back to you a.s.a.p! x
Thankyou! Yeah i do really like Noah and the Whale, their album is great. Aimee Mann? never heard of it but i'll check it out! Thanks rach :) hope to see you tomorrow x
