Everything I do is filtered through my Faith. It's my motivation and my reason for living. I love music, books, films, the natural world, art, photography, genealogy, stitching, blogging, gardening, good food, good company and good wine!
2008 is going to be a year for some intense personal development and sorting out of my life. I'm working on being a healthier, happier and better person by the end of the year.

I could not get through life without music. TV could stop tomorrow and I wouldn't really bat an eyelid, but take away my music and I'd be a fruit loop in a week. Praise and Glory be to God for the invention of the iPod!

I LOVE reading and will give anything a go. At the moment I'm reading The Bible and Suite Francaise by Irene Nemirovsky.
Favourite authors include: Jane Austen, Joanne Harris, Mary Wesley, Terry Pratchett, Jean M Auel, Helen Dunmore, Carole Matthews, E. Annie Proulx, Judy Astley and David Eddings. I read lots of things, so anyone who writes a good book gets my attention!
The Ampthill Forum is down at the moment and in the process of being moved into the care of a new webmaster. We hope we can have it back up and running again very shortly. In the meantime, if you want to contact someone from the Forum, please contact me through the contact page at Ampthill Baptist Church, and I'll do my best to see if I can put you in touch with them.

How are you then? I'm pretty good thanks, although if the price of petrol goes up any more I think I shall get a shovel and start digging for my own in the back garden.
I am hard at work doing my bit to put Fusion together. We had a great time recently filming Rev the Rev (see the June blog for details). Now we have only a few weeks to go until the annual mayhem that is Fusion. I can't wait, although I know I will be completely and utterly knackered by the end of it.

Hey, nobody's perfect, and sure, if we all didn't nought, we wouldn't risk treading on peoples toes... but we have to get on and do things, so it's a risk we can't really avoid, anyway, who says their feet were in the right place ? ;o)
I was surprised that they let Jenny live. I've got a feeling she'll be a companion to the next regenerated Doctor or else they'll give her a Sarah-Jane style spin off. Those in the know say that Episode 11 is the one to watch this season - lots explained, including what is on Donna's back!! My husband knows lots of spoilers and is itching to tell me, but I'm happy to let it all unfold. I'm ok, ta. Still juggling work and home. Hope things are good for you.
