Rachel Kiel grew up tap dancing, playing the flute, and listening extensively to her parents' record collection in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. After hearing enough Paul Simon, she decided it was time to also try singing and writing songs that were funny and sad at the same time. She has played with a number of bands, including the Stranger Spirits, Eurofox, Pale Flare, Edensong, and Noko Yono & The Arctic Hares.
Rachel is currently working on learning to play banjo and drums. She recently self-released her first album, "Table Manners," which is a collection of songs that features her signature funny-sad and country-pop sensibility.
"Table Manners" is available to for purchase on cdbaby and will soon be up on iTunes.
