Rachel Lilliott grew up in the small town of Manchester, Georgia, where she followed in the footsteps of her mom and dad singing in the church choir. It was there she formed her musical roots and soon after was being influenced by country music of the time. She sights her influences as Reba McEntire, Trisha Yearwood and the Dixie Chicks and remembers her first concert, Reba McEntire, as being the catalyst for the start of her career. She also says “The first time I heard Trisha Yearwood’s song She’s in Love With the Boy I knew I wanted to be a country music singer.
At 24, she’s a regular doing showcases all around middle Georgia and has already accumulated a solid fan base. She continually entertains her audiences with popular songs of her favorite artists as well as her own original songs. Her voice has a natural beauty and a distinctive style all her own.
Rachel loves to read, go to movies with her friends and play tennis and says her life just wouldn’t be complete without her beagle Daisy and her cat Tigger. She presently spends her time writing with top songwriters in town and is frequently recording in studios on Music Row.
Her songs are currently being pitched by Cristaldi Music Publishing.
