Born in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada in 1985, Rachel is an alumnus of Ottawa's reknowned De La Salle High School's Centre D'Excellence Artistique, where she majored in vocal music. With the De La Salle Vocal Ensemble, she performed in Vancouver, Vienna, and at Carnegie Hall in New York City. She began to compose at age 14 while studying the piano. In 2002, she won first prize in the De La Salle composition competition with her piece, 'Lumières', for women's chorus. As a finalist of that same contest the following year, she participated in a master class with Canadian choral composer Stephen Hatfield with her piece 'Le Train d'Hiver'. She is presently studying music writing techniques at the University of Montreal, where she continues to compose and present her works. In May 2007, Rachel will travel to Copenhagen to attend the european premiere of her piece 'Automne: Trois Poèmes Japonais'.

Any material sent from me will normally be in the form of an appreciation letter, or an information letter pertaining to my music and / or upcoming events that will feature my work. I have no partnership with any marketing or product bearing company. Whatever you do, do not click on any link sent by what you might think is a bogus link; delete it. On to brighter subjects …I just released a new piece on my page titled “A Girl, A Bridge, and Cherry Blossoms.” The original work was composed when I about. I re-worked it last night, thinking about putting it into full production. Let me know what you think, I hope you like it.
Lastly, I am casting for several musicians, vocalist, and dancers. I am producing a show for tour and need artists not only for recording but for touring as well. As many of you know, I am preparing for a tour this summer/ fall to five cities across the globe, and am looking for solid talent. I am offering a flat rate for service or a percentage of profits off the sales of recorded material. Rates and fees will be discussed upon approval in the first round of the selection process. If you know of someone who might be interested in this information, please pass this note on to them.
