UM....we will c and hear.thats all from the deep inside of me.
I learnt lots of my childhood stories from my mother.
She told me that when she was pregnant with me until my early childhood our entire family lived together in a small room less than twenty square meters and the room was filled with a piano, a synthesizer and a bed. My father worked for long time everyday, and made various sounds with different musical instruments. Having this advantage I started to enjoy my daddy’s music as early as when I was still in my mom’s womb and ever since.
One day I suddenly sang along with a TV commercial when I was just one year old and could hardly speak a few words. My family members were very surprised that I could sing in tune.
My grandfather is a composer and music critics. As my childhood bedtime stories, he told me stories about music, sang Chinese folk songs for me, or played music cassettes/CDs. One day when I listened to the second movement of Dvorak's eighth symphony, he was surprised to find that I was deeply moved.
When I was two years old, a TV director invited my father to write a song for a toy TV commercial. He also invited me to sing that song as I looked so lovely and could sing. That was my first time to make a recording in studio.
After my first singing performance on TV, I gave shows numerous times at my kindergarten, my primary school, Beijing TV and China Central TV, celebrating the International Children’s Day and various festivals. One of my songs was selected into an album called the Best Children's Songs.
I started my piano lessons at four. My parents and grandparents never forced me or pushed me to practice piano so many hours per day, instead the whole family often gathered to sing. I felt that music was so amazing that I wanted to pursue it, and such spirits encouraged me and persuaded me to practice piano voluntarily.
In my late primary school years, I developed interests to “make” songs and my mom took notes for me. I like to play piano in the manner of improvisation recital. I composed a piano piece called The Thief.
Time is the only thing that we must obey and that we cannot reverse. Therefore I do every thing with my utmost effort. It is time that made me cherish each note that will be touched by my fingers. I know that each note only has one chance to show up itself, and it will then be immediately replaced by the next note. I would treasure every chance for self-improvement. I would try my best to avoid being replaced.
I know that my life is doomed with music. Without music it will be like breathing without air for me, which I cannot imagine.
