About me:
I've earned a degree in Communication, and I'm taking a few more cinema classes while preparing to take my GRE and go to the University of North Texas or Emory State University (whichever accepts me) to secure my Masters in Cinema Studies. My goal is to ultimately secure my PhD and teach Cinema Studies at the university level.
I have a cat named Jack, who rocks my word. She's seriously the best.
I read an obnoxious amount of books. My movie to book ratio is 2:1, so that must mean I watch an obscene amount of movies. I prefer small titles, like independent films over big titles, because movies marketed for the masses are usually dumbed down to an amoebaesque state and make my head hurt.
I like politics, and get my news from the two purest news sources in the world--The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, and The Colbert Report. Two brilliant shows that capitilize on the internet/media phenomenon. Genius.
I have a huge soft spot for Star Trek: Next Generation, the Steelers, and the Saints.
My headline is Latin for "To boldy go where no man has gone before."
