    I've always been more of a movie person than a music person, definitely a visual person here. Although there have been certain artists through out my life that have moved me into super fandom Frank Sinatra is one of them and so is Michael Jackson. So, in honor of Michael Jackson I am putting the Thriller song back up. In the infancy of my myspace page years ago when I first put it up ... it was the best song I could think of to represent myself and what I do and my line of work. Morbid ... BUT COOL AS HELL ;) Those of you that know me know that Thriller was a huge inspiration to me as a kid as to why I wanted to do make up effects. Michael has always held a special place in my heart because of that and not only that but all his humanitarian efforts. Even through 90's with his trials and tribulations (more like witch hunts) I never wavered in my support of him, I can proudly say I have never once made a joke about him, and always chastise those that do. Although I do concede that some of the things he did in his personal life could be considered different or abnormal by our standards, I would also call upon you to please consider this man was never afforded the luxury of normalcy in any aspect of his life. Could you or I have made it as long as he did? Do you have any idea the life he was forced to lead from such a young age? Can you even comprehend it? So the next time you want to make a joke or a crack please consider that, and please consider all the good the man did in his life. No rumors or accusations should or could ever overshadow that. God bless you and rest in peace.

Rad F/X Co. is the official DBA title for myself, Robert Haddy... check out that address for the official Rad F/X website ... its got lots of cool stuff on it :) I am an Effects artist and teacher. Currently I am in charge of teaching the Make up and Mask Class at Capital High School in Charleston WV. But as all effects artists know that isnt all I cover in class, we learn specialty costuming, properties, puppetry, mask making, make up for stage film and video and effects make up including basic construction make ups all the way through to advance multiple piece prosthetic make ups. This year we have added in a seperate class, Puppetry and Costuming. I am really looking forward to being able to teach these by themeselves and devote more time to the subject of puppetry that I love so much!

I also teach TV Video and Film Production, where I produce the 20 minute show CTV as a hands on learning tool for the students. This Show is a cross between John Stewart's Daily Show, Saturday Night Live, and a little bit of Late Night Talk show thrown in. We broadcast to over 1300 students every morning via the schools closed circuit system. I have a Digital Filmmaking class and each year the students are required to create a short film suitable for entry into film festivals. Last year 2 of MY students won second and third place respectively in the WEST VIRGINIA INTERNTATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL. I also produce television programing for KCS schools television station broadcast on charter channel 17. We make DVDs of episodes, segments, and all of the activities and shows that take place in the performing arts center. I am also available for classes and workshops please contact me for details if you are interested in any of the above in a workshop format. AH but I'm Rambling on...
