All-time favorite: "Because of Winn Dixie." If you've seen it, you understand. Mind-blowing favorite: "What the Bleep Do We Know?" If you haven't seen it, watch it. The world will never look the same to you. Other favorites: Big Fish, Diva (French, 1980s), Farenheit 911.
Television
All things Law & Order; Medium; The Closer; and The L Word and Weeds on Showtime. I like the original CSI and CSI:NY, as long as I'm not watching TV over dinner! I believe America is divided into two groups: Leno fans and Letterman fans. I am a Letterman fan. Thank God for TiVO!Books
Anything by Sarah Waters. The Davinci Code. Angels & Demons. I tend to read a lot of books on spirituality (but not religion) and politics. Recent favorite: Moon Time--The Art of Harmony with Nature and Lunar Cycles. I have an entire shelf on my bookcase on various scandals, lies and attempts at oppression by the Bush Administration. I'm glad Bush will be out of office soon -- otherwise I will have to buy another bookcase.

This year's theme is Lickalotta-PESSIMISM. And, boy! is there a lot of that out there this year. We would love to see ALL the Lickalotta's out there this year showing their support for Camp Lickalotta and licking-a-lotta-of PESSIMISM that weekend.
Here are the websites to make your reservations. www. lickalottafest. com and www. etowahrivercampground. com 704-864-9035 Jaki and Darrell are expecting your call. Just let them know you want to make a reservation for Lickalotta Fest 09' and they will take care of you.
Arrival time is 3 PM Friday, June 19th and Departure time is 3 PM Sunday, June 21st. The BANDS will be playing Saturday night and vendors will be on hand as well. Vendors that are interested in being part of Lickalotta Fest 09' we encourage you to let us know at camplickalotta@aol.com We will walk you through the process of registration and reserve your vending spot.
Let's get together this year, June 19, 20, 21st and Lickalotta-PESSIMISM together. It will be a fun weekend NO DOUBT!
The cost for the entire weekend is $25 per person. So, whether you are a tenter that wants to make reservations early to get the best tent sites available or you are bringing an RV, by the way there are over 50 RV sites to choose from it it $25 per person. Etowah River Campground has Gated Security, handicapped accessible, washers/dryers, showers/toliets, fire wood available, ice, and tubing.
We will be having a 50/50 drawing with the proceeds going to Camp Lickalotta and one lucky winner. There will also be some free give a ways.
