Influences
We're influenced by a megaton of rock-n-roll of all types of music. If you need to label us, let's just say we bring all of our collective influences into the mix and churn out something that feels good and shakes the soul. We've got a metal edge with infused melodies that we hope knock one off center of the expected norm. Originality is key to our approach.
Now, with all that said, if you truly are one of those who insists on stamping a band with a label (and who of us hasn't at one time or another?), the following groups are part of our collective influences:Motley Crue, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Zebrahead, NIN, She Wants Revenge, The Misfits, The Cult, Tool, Avenged Sevenfold, The Cure, Ozzy, U2, Primus, Guns N' Roses , Machine Head, The Smiths, Ministry, Rage against the Machine, Cake, Billy Idol, --and the list goes on---
Sounds Like
An awesome big slap in the face! Hopefully no one -- cuz we aim to create music that stands out and falls into its own sound---different is good!!!!!

BIO
It’s a sad day when the guitar solo withers and die!!
After only a little more than 3 years RADIATA has shown their potential and ambition by making a big name for themselves in their home town of Salt Lake City, Utah. In doing so RADIATA has been featured on local radio shows like X96 (96.3 FM) live and local and KBER 101 (101.1) Mick and Allen's "The Freak Show," on numerous occasions. As well as on the DJ Beerman show in the UK.
RADIATA has opened and headlined for national acts and metal icons such as Psychostick, The Iron Maidens, Vincent Blackshadow, Eric Martin Band (Mr. Big), The Bulletboys, W.A.S.P, Brett Michaels, Played at the Sundace Film Festival in Park City and played at the World Super Bike which was the biggest international event to come to Utah since the 2002 Olympics.
Not just playing with great acts RADIATA has been featured on Comcast On Demand (The Band Wagon) for a whole month and was selected for Forbidden Radio with Kristine Dolce in Los Angeles. RADIATA is not one to play the local scene forever. Our vision and goal is to break out of the corner of simplicity that music has been pushed into and exceed what this worlds expectations have become!!!!!!!
By a fusion of Classic/new Metal and Punk Rock we are tapping into a new vein of music feeding from the past and creating new life. Filled with love and energy, friendship is the core of RADIATA. We plan to stay the course and ride alongside our legends with intent to surpass their legacy!!!!!!!!
