Hey Adam here is a link to info on the Orphan Works act 2008 which is a bill going into congress which could pass into law. This bill could take rights away from visual artist and anyone could use their artwork and make money off it. It basically takes away copyrights from visual artists!!! In theory if this passes a major corporation could use your painting,logo,drawing ect. on their tv commercial and pay you nothing and not even mention your name!!!!! This is Scary!!!!
If you want to protect your intellectual property from being used by corporations royalty free please read this!!!!!
I just took action on this issue and thought you might want to use these tools to write Congress, too.
