.....someone is trying to pigeon-hole me...I think I sound like me, others give varying responses, but never the same one twice, but because people search on this stuff here are some things I like: Swervedriver, the Verve (some people have mentioned Bjork in my vocal sound, but this is actually me trying to do Richard A), Brian Eno, Massive Attack, Dif Juz, Husker Du, Luna, Stone Roses, Chemical Brothers, Prodigy, Tricky, Sparklehorse, Vic Flick (the original Bond guitar riff), Henry Mancini, John Powell (the Bourne soundtracks), Syd Barratt, Mozart, PJ Harvey, My Bloody Valentine, Bob Haggart (Big Noise from Winnetka, written 1930's and still cool), the La's, Lush, Pixies, early Stones, early Cure. There's more - I even have a penchant for hammond organs but we'll get to that later...
radio caroline south started in 2005, when I bought a guitar and setup a home studio to work on song ideas. radio caroline south is my first solo project.
In May 2007 I won some recording time through Mescalito Records and Thirty Mill Studios (you guys rock!), saved like crazy and headed off to Melbourne with my guitar, bass and backpack to record. Several trips and a lot of my wage packet later, I have finished an original EP of songs.

Hey Thalia, all good this side. The EP got put on hold for a while but is back on track at the end of the month. To many gigs, to many distractions...... Killer on the studio time thing, thats awesome! Hope you get some good stuff down. Keen to hear.... ;)
