My dense and conflicted life tries, and largely fails, to successfully maintain concurrent careers as an attemptedly-thoughtful pop singer-songwriter, an appropriately-participatory father and husband, and as a musically-savvy-yet-goofy radio traffic reporter guy, complete with pretentious title "Senior Anchor / Director of Programming", for Metro Networks, A Westwood One Company, in Philadelphia. (The "senior" part is just to remind me in case I don't feel quite old and decrepit enough.)
Been on almost all of the Philly radio stations over 27+ years, but I currently babble incessant traffic every weekday afternoon on public radio WHYY 90.9 FM Philadelphia, classical WRTI 90.1 FM Philadelphia, top 40/rhythmic WPHI 100.3 FM Philadelphia ("100.3 The Beat, Interactive Hip-Hop and R&B"), hot a/c WSJO 104.9 FM South Jersey ("South Jersey's Own, SoJO 104-9"), urban talk WURD 900 AM Philadelphia ("Your Information Station, Committed To Solutions"), SIRIUS/XM Channel 149 ("First Traffic for Philadelphia"), classic rock WEZX 106.9 FM Wilkes-Barre/Scranton ("Rock 107") and country WSJR 93.7 FM Wilkes-Barre/Scranton ("J.R. 93-7") -- and continue to merely grouse about management duties the rest of each work day.
Played and recorded with lots o' bands between ages 15 and 35ish, then stopped playing in public to devote time to all of the above, and to occasionally lock myself into small rooms to keep writing and recording. A few recent resulting tracks from such pointless endeavors are posted and available for purchase on my MySpace Music page --
-- with additional tracks added as they become available. All such silliness may simply be released as individual downloads, or may eventually find its way onto a CD or EP entitled "Delays Major and Minor", sometime in the next few years if all goes well... and really, when has all gone well? Also some various more-music-oriented blog ramblings at the music page. So please stop by there, leave a friend request or comment, etc. Thanks!

Oh, now I feel some kind of obligation to answer this just because MySpace deems it necessary to display this line on the page regardless. Um, yeah, just like everyone else says, people with similar musical interests... Y'know, I mean virtually. Who has time to meet anyone in real life anymore?
Ever wondered what to do in the event of a nuclear threat?
A while ago I found stuff that inspired me to make this film:
Living Under the Shadow of the Nuclear Umbrella
Both artistic (ensure you get the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice.
Though source materials are quite aged, much remains relevant today.

Hi,
How's it going? Another beautiful hot day here in London and hard to do anything, so we thought we would stop by and say hello as we are lazing around ;-)
We have a wicked new remix on our page by a guy called Mr. Bird. We'd love you opinion. also, we put some links in our latest blog to a few other remixes by other great Myspace people. Hope you like them!
it's good to know there are others with the same great musical taste. Last show I saw was Glenn Tilbrook in Austin, Tx. It seems that each time I see him, it just keeps getting better. It's also refreshing to see him playing again with another talented group of musicians. I'm looking forward to getting the new Aimee Mann cd, but it still hasn't showed up. I'm always up for hearing other peoples "finds" of music worth listening to. Feel free to drop me some tips. Ta
