SPEEDIES "Speedy Delivery" LP/CD
RHB - 101
The Speedies were about POP! Their infectious blend of glitter and punk never strays far between hooks , just as you'd expect from a band that wanted to be your breakfast cereal with the Kellogg's jingles to prove it. The Radio Heartbeat LP/CD includes the 2 classic singles "Let Me Take Your Photo" and "Something on My Mind" and flip sides plus a double scoop of songs that could have easily been hit singles. Resistance is futile, as the Speedies have it: "You Need Pop."

HUBBLE BUBBLE S/T LP
RHB-102
You know the deal. Belgium 1978, Plastic Bertand and Co. created a monster. Languishing in the depths of want lists for years and years, Radio Heartbeat is more than happy to bring this classic back to vinyl in tandem with our pals at Daggerman Records. An impossible LP to explain in a few lines, it ranges from the raw anthemic pop of "Freak's Out" to the wall of sound punk of "Big Star Rolling."

HUBBLE BUBBLE "Faking" LP
RHB-103
The second Hubble Bubble LP from 1979, faithfully restored to the vinyl format. This LP is a less a follow up to to the first than it's own entity entirely. If not for the long shadow cast by the S/T LP, it's easy to imagine that this would be more highly regarded for the brilliant blend of punk and edgy pop that it is. There's much here to please fans of the raw punk of the first LP. However, "Faking" also exhibits more of an attention to hooks as it makes more than a slight nod toward Pub Rock and Glam: Just hear their devastating version of Kim Fowley and Michael Lloyd's "Motor Boat"!

RAXOLA S/T LP
RHB-104
Raxola hailed from the same classic Belgian punk scene as The Kids and Hubble Bubble. Amazing that three groups all put out such staggering LPs! Long regarded as one of the all-time best European punk LPs, Raxola finally gets a legit repressing. Winners such as "84's Man" "Wildcat" and "Old Rat" will continue to quench your sonic palette for years to come.

MILK N' COOKIES 2LP
RHB-105
Milk N' Cookies blended elements of Sparks-influenced Glam with Micky Most / Chin & Chapman-esque Glitter Gum and delivered it with a punk edge that was all New York. Simply a one of a kind LP that has long topped the waant wists of everyone from punk, glam and power pop collectors to twee poppers. Too bad hardly any bands followed their lead until quite recently.
This Radio Heartbeat Double LP edition reproduces the original album artwork and adds a gatefold with rare photos, liner notes, 2 Full Color printed inner sleeves and a fold out poster. The first LP of the 2 record set is a faithful reissue of the original 1975 Island LP; the 2nd LP contains "Tinkertoy Tomorrow," "Good Friends," "Wok N' Woll," "Typically Teenage," "Buy This Record" and an alternate version of "Not Enough Girls (In The World)."

20/20 "Going Up With My Girl" b/w "World of Fools" PS45
RHB-701
"Going Up With My Girl" is perhaps not only 20/20's finest song but simply one of the better power pop songs ever. "World of Fools" is a worthy a-side to almost any lesser cut. Long staples of 20/20 live shows, the Radio Heartbeat 45 versions of these tracks were recorded in 1980 at Wally Heider's in LA.

RADIO CITY "Class of '77" LP/CD
RHB-106
If you're anything like us at Radio Heartbeat, you can't get enough of 70s power pop bands that were writing songs under the influence of the Beatles, Big Star and Blue Ash and you lament the fact that there's just not as many of these records as there should have been. Enter Radio City. Recorded in NY between 1977 and 1980 these 'lost' Radio City recordings have been carried along until not merely in the rumors of power pop enthusiasts and collectors. The wait is over as, fortunately, there remains a LPs worth of songs such as Don't Mistake Love and Little Runaway that should move even the most jaded of hearts with their blend of pop melancholy lyric and Rickenbacker jangle.
