Live Wire Radio's Interests
General
World domination through the ancient art of radio variety.
About me: Live Wire! is a radio variety show that records in front of a LIVE audience at the Aladdin Theater in Portland, Oregon.
An evening with Live Wire will most likely contain interviews with people you might like to know, music you may not have otherwise stumbled upon, and sketch comedy that may or may not cause urinary incontinence.
So what are you waiting for? Come see a show, dammit.

Who I'd like to meet: Either Simone de Beauvoir or Steven Seagal. But I think one of them might be dead, so...whichever one isn't.
I have been a very poor myspace friend to you, Live Wire!, and I do intend to be better and/or go to a show soon (cuz I do really like you and listen to you on the radio and hold you in high regard), but I wanted to let you know if you didn't already that Maria Bamford is going to be at the Aladdin on Friday, May 22nd! :)
I'm trying to get the word out that all the songs from my Darla Records debut album "Exclamation Love" are now available digitally on iTunes, Rhapsody, Amazon, and more.
You can get the CD from WATERLOO, darla. com, Amazon, Best Buy, etc...
So have a listen and spread the word if you can!!!
We're playing an EARLY show this FRIDAY @ The Know with Bumtech and No Go Know! We plan to start @ 8pm so be there on time! The Know is at: 2026 NE Alberta in Portland. Hope to see you there! ~~C

Hey there! Okay, not to brag or anything, but Maria Bamford is, like, one of my myspace friends... and I mentioned to her, after I saw your post of her sitcom on your blogger blog, that she was on the radar of a certain radio show here in Portland and that she might should consider stopping here sometime, and now she is(!). (Could be a coincidence; who knows?) She and the other Comedians of Comedy are gonna be performing at the Roseland Theater on Friday, Oct. 5th. Check 'em out if you want. Sincerely, the Bammer's de facto, self-appointed Portland promotions secretary. ;)
Just a reminder that I am playing tonight at the cozy:
Mississippi Studios Thurs, August 9th - 8pm 3939 N. Mississippi $10/$12 (503)288-3895 www.mississippistudios.com
Stop in, sit down, have a drink, and relax. See me off before I leave for the entire winter! I'll be doing all the old standards. Plus some new work from a musical I am writing the music to.
