Here's a really cool interview with new artist Kyle Jennings, singer/songwriter of "Long Black Cadillac"!! Find out if he's related to Waylon and Shooter and what he has in common with the Charlie Daniels Band! Check it out!
Will Peppers is a new artist with a GREAT new song written by the guys who put together George Strait's "Give It Away". Bill Anderson, Buddy Cannon and (my fave!) Jamey Johnson! After I played the song, I got some reactions!
If you watched the 2007 Country Music Association Awards Show, the CMAs, you, like me, must've been questioning your CMA Entertainer of the Year's choice for an outfit. Kenny Chesney... what was WITH those pants? Click here to hear 'Kennys-CMA-Pants'
Believe it or not, about once each week, I get a call from someone telling me I laugh like, sound like, or look like Rachael Ray. Too bad I can't cook to save my life. I can bake... but I cannot cook. Whattya think? Do I sound like her? I'm going to submit these clips to the Rachael Ray Show and maybe she'll fly me to New York and teach me how to cook! Then, I really can be more like RR, as my LL self! :) Enjoy! Click here to listen to 'You-Sound-Like-Rachael-Ray--Now-Please-Help-Me-Cook'
One of the many traits I inherited from my maternal Grandpap is the way in which I blow my nose. I really honk the honker, if ya know what I'm sayin'. I decided to turn that into a fun contest. ..Click here to hear 'BlowYourNoseLikeLoisWin'
Buy me some popcorn and sit me down in the Theatre... I'm happy for hours! I LOVE MOVIES!!!! All-time fave? TOP GUN!!! Love PRETTY WOMAN, THE NOTEBOOK, NOTTING HILL and all of those girly romantic comedies. Thought WALK THE LINE was great. FRACTURE, LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE, THE DEPARTED. Oh yeah, and GRINDHOUSE rules. NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN. Wow. What a movie! WALLLLLL-EEEEE!!!! IRON MAN ruled. STATE OF PLAY was good. X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE... three words: Love. Hugh. Jackman. MY BEST FRIEND'S GIRL and THE LOVE GURU were pretty funny!!! THE WATCHMEN was horrible.

How Well Do You Know Your Country Music? Born Country!
My name is: LOIS LEWIS!!!
Yes, you must include the exclamation points.
My signature saying is "ROCK. OUT. LOUD."
I live for live music.
I don't sing karaoke; I rap. Song of choice? Young MC's "Bust A Move". I'm working on "The Humpty Dance". I may also attempt Eminem's "The Real Slim Shady" soon.
I grew up in a retirement community.
My first job was teaching ballet to cutie little five year olds.
My second job was picking up range balls, or rather, being target practice for the Sahuarita High School golf team.
Growing up, I played softball, basketball, volleyball, powder puff, lifted weights and did swim team, ballet and band. Thank goodness I'm the only child.
My first dog, Niblick, was my only childhood pet. He lived to be 19 years old and was named after a 9-iron golf club. In Scotland, there's a Whisky named after him. It's "The Golfer's Choice" blend. This makes me happy in my heart.
I don't own a designer handbag. In fact, I don't even call my purse a handbag.
I'm always curious what Jack Ingram's hair will look like each time I see him.
I've been overseas twice.
I'm generally happy. Scratch that. I'm generally ECSTATIC.
I love Willie Nelson more than any other country music singer. He's like my second Grandpa.
I believe M&Ms have different flavors according to their outside shell. I prefer red or green.
If I had a completely disposable income I would still go broke on iTunes.
My signature purple eyeshadow is called Ecstasy.
I love stars. Shooting or otherwise.
I love quotes and sayings.
I cannot stand bad grammar.
I believe in true love.
Wishes really DO come true.
My body has turned into approximately 1/8th Blue Moon. I love it that much.
I love animals so much you'd think I'd be a vegetarian. But, for now, you'd be incorrect.
I'm allergic to pickles.
I don't drink (or like) coffee.
My eyes used to be blue. Now they're green.
I have a mild teeth obsession. By mild I mean severe.
I'm afraid of hand sanitizer.
My first cassette tape was Depeche Mode.
I spend all my vacation days centered around festivals and concerts.
I wear Lucchese cowboy boots almost every day.
My favorite Meet and Greet to date was last January, in LA, with Garth Brooks. Unreal.
My dog, Lucille Ball, has a Mohawk. And only one eyeball. And I call her Goose.
My two favorite movies (yes, it's a tie) are TOP GUN and PRETTY WOMAN. THE NOTEBOOK is a close second.
My favorite GRRRRR music is Rage Against The Machine.
My favorite relax music is Sade.
The CD that I've listened to more than any other CD in my collection is "My World" by Cyndi Thompson.
My favorite Taylor Swift song is “Breathe”.
I have many nicknames: Double-L, Lo, LoRock, L2, L-Squared, LoLew, Loey, LoLo, Louie, Clovis, Chloey, HiLo
I love Reality TV but have never watched The Amazing Race.
I'm a freakishly fast typist. Accurate too.
I used my "wedding" money as a down payment on my first house. Guess I'm never getting married.
My dream vacation is to the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas. Two words: SHARK SLIDE!!!
My lucky number is three. I always set my alarm in numbers divisible by three or with a three in it.
I don't like to gamble.
I hate lima beans.
Lois Lewis is my real name.
Music is my LIFE.
ROCK. OUT. LOUD.
November 20th was World Children's Day at McDonald's! Max, Shannon, Porkchop and I were there to help raise some bucks for the Ronald McDonald House right here in Southern Arizona! And thanks to Buzz Jackson for showing up with his trusty video camera... and for embarassing me by asking me to "complete the jingle"!!! I guess I was just too sheltered to know all of these McDonald's commercials; Max, Shannon & Porkchop had NO trouble! My Grammy & Grampy didn't really let me watch any TV when I was little! I did puzzles & homework! Oh well! I know this one: "I'm Lovin' It!!"
Meet my former KiiM-FM pardners! Me, Buzz Jackson, Kricket, Porkchop and Shannon Black!
Country Night with the Family and Craig Morgan!
My Bestest Friend, Stephie!
Thank you, Taylor. You ARE Fearless.
"To me, “FEARLESS” is not the absence of fear. It’s not being completely unafraid. To me, FEARLESS is having fears. FEARLESS is having doubts. Lots of them. To me, FEARLESS is living in spite of those things that scare you to death. FEARLESS is falling madly in love again, even though you’ve been hurt before. FEARLESS is walking into your freshmen year of high school at fifteen. FEARLESS is getting back up and fighting for what you want over and over again… even though every time you’ve tried before, you’ve lost. It’s FEARLESS to have faith that someday things will change. FEARLESS is having the courage to say goodbye to someone who only hurts you, even if you can’t breathe without them. I think it’s FEARLESS to fall for your best friend, even though he’s in love with someone else. And when someone apologizes to you enough times for things they’ll never stop doing, I think it’s FEARLESS to stop believing them. It’s FEARLESS to say “you’re NOT sorry”, and walk away. I think loving someone despite what people think is FEARLESS. I think allowing yourself to cry on the bathroom floor is FEARLESS. Letting go is FEARLESS. Then, moving on and being alright…That’s FEARLESS too. But no matter what love throws at you, you have to believe in it. You have to believe in love stories and prince charmings and happily ever after. That’s why I write these songs. Because I think love is FEARLESS." -Taylor
