Movies
My Top 10 Movies
I'm partial to kid's movies, if stuff like The Wizard of Oz fits that catagory.
(Editing this section)
1. Wizard of OZ (1939)

Dark Side of OZ.
This is the "twister scene" from OZ set to the music of Pink Floyd. Oddly, the music fits the action onscreen to a startling level. The band admitted that they meant that to be the case.
2. Lord of the Rings Trilogy (2000-3)
1. Wizard of OZ (1939)
2. Lord of the Rings Trilogy (2000-3)
3. Paper Moon (1973)
4. E.T. The-Extraterrestial (1982)
5. The Inspector General (1949)
6. Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory (1971)

Where'd everybody go?!!! :(
Aw hell, for comedy it's Monty Python all the way.
You're back! Cool. :D

Mystery Science Theater 3000, with all it's bad movie fun, is among my top favorites as well.
Of course, recent stuff...LOST, Rock Star: INXS (Im hoping the guy they picked don't work out so they have to do it again :D ), Scrubs, My Name is Earl and The Office (both versions).
Favorite TV show Top 10 (subject to change):
1. Star Trek TOS,
2. Monty Python's Flying Circus,

Books
Stephen King, blah, blah, blah.
Oh, I've been reading Lord of the Rings for 3 or 4 years. :D IT'S A BIG BOOK, OKAY?!! Lately I've put it down in favor of the Complete Grimm Faery Tales collection. Those are superb! Give it a try.
Heroes
My dad. Even though we don't always get along, he's nearly always right about what I got annoyed with him about. A good guy, who's retired and getting in all the fishing time he's earned over the years. Mom too! She's my rock. Outside of family I'd have to say people like Christopher Reeve, who still "do" even though life has dealt them a bad hand. I only hope if something happens like that to me I can even be a fraction of what people like this are.
About me: Hum...I'm in between jobs. Great expression for the losers of the world, eh?

Here's some terrific movies of Japanese kid shows. I love these!

Who I'd like to meet: People who share my same interests and don't get quickly bored with my banter.
I have not forgotten you! I'm so sorry for not replying sooner, last week I had 3 papers >.< eek. At least it's the weekend. Yes I used a picture of Xena on a horse with a burning village behind her LOL They loved it. Anyways, I'm a little behind on Xena, I really want to watch an episode. Only if time would permit! I can't wait for a holiday. How have you been?
Sounds like fun...I'm contemplating watching all of hitchcock's films but just for shits and giggles (I seldom get to use that phrase).
Right now I'm feeling very sick--a cheap friend of mine gave it to me after I went and paid for her ticket to the movies. To think I thought she was a friend--the gratitude I get for spending time with her! j/k.
Thanks for the well wishes, I'd been practicing non stop for the past week to get it perfected ahhha. Finally the speech is over!! I focused on the dark side of Xena before she became the defender of good. Pretty interesting topic, but I butchered the speech LOL Or at least I feel like I did. You know how sometimes you can hear your voice shaking and the beady stares from the audience throws you off? Gah, this class will kill me before the end of the semester hahah.
AAhh! Sorry for the way late reply, I've been insanely busy since school's started :[ Gah, I'm even procrastinating now!! LoL But on a positive not, Yes I LOVE ramen noodles :p Yum yum
I've met MaggieNZ a little while ago, she's such a sweetie! It's such a shame that I hardly ever visit that site anymore....I'm such a busy busy bee
Not to mention a great depression over my speech class ~!@ Gah, I HATE it with a passion. BUT guess who I'm doing for my next speech??? XENA! LOL Wish me luck! Or even better, pray for me
I loved Lost in Translation, it's been awhile since I've seen it :p Asian cuisine is definitely my favorite, Italian is soo good too. I'm hoping to visit italy soon, the sooner the better. I guess I better brush up on Italian haha.
Japan is definitely one of my favorite places. It's such a peaceful place (okinawa is at least) and I always feel at home.
Haha, no boyfriend for me. Way to much drama and I feel that I'm better off without one. Wow did it really take you two years to watch the first season?? :P For me, I was so excited when I bought the first 2 seasons (it was during my junior or senior year of high school) that I would immediately come home and watch at least 2 episodes hahah! I was a little too obsessed with it at the time.
Ah I had been in the process of moving into my apartment these past few days...it actually looks pretty nice and I have my own bathroom :D yay
I think the reason that women cling to PIP is because they all went through that moment in their adolescence when the chose the 'catch' (random popular guy who despite the difference between you and him loves you) over their lovable best friends who would fight a mob/take a bullet/cheer you up/loves your imperfections.
In retrospect we all realize that we made the wrong decision!!!
So everytime I watch that movie I hope this time...she'll open her eyes and make the RIGHT decision.
LOL thanks! I love the background because it reminds me of the city in Okinawa (although I'm pretty sure it's a pic of tokyo haha). Sadly I've attempted to add a wonderful song to my profile but I can't even hear it (so I'm sure others can't either). Something to do with a user error or perhaps due to an overload in codes hahaha, But I'll find out soon and hopefully have a great song up for everyone.
Yay, season 2 is amazing!! But I have to admit my favorite season would either be 3 or 4. I'm still gathering spare change to save up for my last 3 seasons :D
Its funny I feel the same way...ringwald, potts, cryer and harry stanton (the dad) are the reasons to watch the show.
The guys are a passing fad, even though there is a lot of emphasis on her getting with blaine its quite obvious that she doesn't need him and will have a great life without him.
when I first saw PIP I wanted to design my own clothes.
you know designing, sewing...its all harder than it looks.
Its funny I loved that movie but there are two reasons I would watch it over and over again--Duckie and Steff (James Spader).
don't ask me why those two specifically but it was my thing.
Thanks!! It took me forever to set it up this morning lol Did you hear about the recent news concerning the new planet?? I can't believe they're making it official, a planet named XEna!! hahha, it's so awesome. And the moon revolving around it is Gabrielle...so perfect :D
OMG that's one of my favorite Xena episodes also! I think it's called Been There, Done That. I don't know how many times I've seen it :D They better make a Xena movie, I've been waiting for it since they announced possible plans of making one in 2001. It's been 5 years! I think they're trying to determine if there will be enough ppl to watch it. Of course! Xena's a cult favorite, there will be a mass gathering at the theaters hahha.
You're right, Lucy Lawless and Renee O' Connor both still look fabulous. I can't imagine a Xena movie without them.
I've got a couple of interviews next week, one looks like it's between me and another guy, and the other looks like it's between 3 of us, so hopefully I'll get one of em! I'd be pretty unlucky really when it's that close to not get an offer, but it wouldn't really surprise me...
Hey, Mr. Radio! I've not been on myspace for ages now! I've just been looking for jobs, failing exams, all that kind of thing, general studenty things. ;)
Thanks for the kind words! I really needed to hear from you--the people I'm around would not bat an eye if I had said that I was missing my dog.
But I thought about it yesterday and my last memory of her was her sweet face smiling up at me as I pet her goodbye. We still have her two crazy pups (wild duo).
I'm so glad to find you on here too :D I still have only the first 3 seasons of Xena. Hopefully I'll get another one for Christmas haha. That video was awesome! I couldn't stop laughing, it was so perfect ^_^
Its awful. Apparently my dog died last night (family dog), Brownie.
She wasn't that old but apparently she was bit by a snake. A small foot long snake bit her. Parents didn't tell my brother and me about it until this morning.
*hate to bum you out its just I know you'd understand*
You just reminded me...the best cake I've ever had EVER was an Olive Garden cake they used to make.
It was a delicate white cake (melted in your mouth) with a middle layer with the lightest custard I've ever had and a creamy whip cream top (mostly just a little swirl on top).
I loved that cake...*sigh* they don't even make that one anymore.
You know...its kind of sad, my favorite memories are of my grandmother in the summer but she died when I was a ten years old. My other grandmother died recently (2 yrs ago) both were a real blow to my families (the moms have always been the rock of the families).
But I can't feel sad at all anymore, I don't remember the the pain of loss I remember only the sweet memories...like the smell of my grandmother's favorite perfume, or the joy they would get watching their favorite tv shows (one loved Perry Mason the other loved In the Heat of the Night)
I miss summers at my grandmother's house, it was so nice and cool in Oregon. All summer long there would be cool rain trickling down during the day or evenings...it was comforting like having a sprinkler on all day.
