ABOUT THE SHOW:
Some say that Chicago is cursed. Is it doomed to be overlooked due to its lack of oceanic coastal waters? I scoff at thee naysayers. Spend a month in Chicago and you will see firsthand that it is a cultural hotbed of activity that would put NY and CA to shame.
Nowadays there are so many bands in and around Chicago that your head can explode trying to keep up with everything that is going on. That's where we fit in. Third Coast? Second City? No. We're Radio One. Every Thursday night we will be here from 6 - 10 PM playing music from the bands, labels, and clubs that make it happen here in our fine city.
Along side the best in old and new releases we'll feature weekly live sets from artists in a sement we like to call LIVE AT BLAM RECORDING. We even work in a touring bands on our schedule in an effort to promote the best Chicago has to offer that upcoming week. Tune in also for weekly ticket giveaways...
