Radio Phone-In is the brain-child of multi instrumentalist Jo Whitby with a helping hand from the keyboard genius that is Lux.
Radio Phone-In is like nothing you've heard before... or maybe a little bit of this and a little bit of that. Point is, Radio Phone-In cannot be put in a box unless it's a very large box and it isn't just because we're scrumptious ladies! Our influences range from Bjork to Serge Gainsbourg, NIN to Hello Kitty with a touch of dEUS and Soulwax.
Whilst we are serious about the sound we make, we do not want to take ourselves seriously. There is of course definitely a big part of our personalities in RPI otherwise the music would be soulless, the aim of the creative process remaining joyous.
We also run a very cool music and culture webzine/blog - check us out: Cat On The Wall

Hello girls! Just wanted to say I really enjoyed seeing you yesterday at the Fleece, hopefully next time all the equipment will work and it will be a bit less stressful for you but anyways I know all the talent you have and I can say I am a proud sister! See you soon x
Thought we’d let you know that we’re playing your track "Sam Likes To Dance" and plugging your upcoming Fleece gig on Bristol Uncovered this Sunday morning on BBC Radio Bristol between 1-3am. Hear it live or anytime in the 7 days after broadcast using the on line "Listen Live/Again" feature on the BBC i-Player, there's a link to it from our profile.
