I am an 80's metal singer from the dam 80's so i am allowed to sound like this!!!!
My name is Allen Dean.
I am a one-man band, specializing in old school heavy rock, acoustic rock, and metal.
My main claim to fame has been playing with a variety of amazing musicians from all around these United States of America. From Washington, Oklahoma, to right here in Northern California, I have been blessed with the opportunity of playing with some really amazing professionals.
My vocal career began one night as a fill in vocalist for a metal band in Sacramento, who was in need. That one niter turned into a steady gig for several years. I then moved from state to state, honing my skills as a singer, and eventually, a songwriter. Being a singer, often times you get pigeon holed by others who think this is all you can do. Luckily, I never listened to those people and followed my instincts.
I began my three-act metal opera, titled THE RAZOR’S KISS, in late 2007. I continue writing acts II, and III at this time. It is a story of love, suicide, the demons within us all, and finally, redemption.
It is a huge undertaking, one most bands would not bother with. A cohesive storyline, with multiple songs, specifically written to take the listener from beginning to end. And along the way, make them feel, think, laugh, and cry.
I hope you will enjoy what I am trying to accomplish, and will support and visit my site often.
